FAQs
Is it possible to add more shipping insurance to my dress after the shipping package is delivered?
Yes! It's best to add extra shipping insurance when ordering your kit online, but you can also increase it later using the form that comes with the kit.
Is it possible to have my completed gown delivered to an address different from where my Kit was sent?
Surely! You'll find paperwork that allows you to indicate whether you want your wedding gown delivered to the original Kit order address or a different one. (Please note that this service is available for Continental US addresses only.)
Which items can I include with my gown for free preservation, and what are the items that come with an extra preservation cost?
The preservation of your gown includes up to five free accessories, such as a veil, train, jacket, ring pillow, money bag, shawl/cape, tiara, duster, garter, handkerchief, corset strap (lacing), purse, gloves, sash, and more. Any items beyond the initial five are subject to an additional $10.00 charge per item.
There is an extra preservation fee for items such as a slip, shoes, and silk bouquet, each priced at $35. You can settle the payment by including a check in the preservation box or using the credit card link provided in your paperwork.
Can I ask for additional repairs to be done on my wedding dress?
Yes, you can. There's a checkbox and a section where you can specify if you believe extra repair work is necessary for your wedding gown, such as fixing beading or repairing tears.
Is it possible to send my Kit to a PO Box?
Unfortunately, that won't be feasible as our package necessitates a signature and should be dispatched to a residential, workplace, or apartment address.
Can I indicate a non-U.S. address for the delivery of my gown in the paperwork?
Regrettably, shipping the final preservation box internationally or to Alaska and Hawaii is not viable due to size and weight constraints.
Although international customers have sent their wedding dresses for cleaning and preservation, it's essential to provide a U.S. address, and you are responsible for managing the international shipping process.
Will I receive a notification once my wedding dress reaches your facility successfully?
Yes, you will be notified via email upon the successful receipt and check-in of your wedding dress at our facility. Please be patient and allow a maximum of two weeks from the date of dispatch for the confirmation and registration of your gown in GownTracker.
Is the use of my own tape acceptable when sealing the shipping container?
Yes, it is acceptable. Just make sure the tape you use is heavy-duty and meets domestic shipping standards.
